| Forum Thread | Congratulations, well deserved win ! at 09:38 3 Jan 2013
As I suspected and it seemed very few of you did QPR fought very hard for the shirt last night, defended in numbers and very deep, showed tenacity and good organisation. Rode their luck a few times but came away with a deserved result. The QPR performance kind of reminds me of a team that won a little trophy last season with a couple of similar performances last year. Spirit, passion and organisation go a long way, the question is now will they be repeating that level of performance in future games ? Good luck staying up as despite the result sooner you stayed up as there is an edge to our games rather than the likes of Wigan, Villa or even Fulham. |
| Forum Thread | Very defeatist attitude on here ! at 15:41 2 Jan 2013
As much as I'd love to agree that Chelsea will win 6 or 7-0 it won't happen ! You'll be fired up as I think we all know that for your club and supporters this is your biggest game of the season and I suspect you will defend deep and in numbers and prove difficult to break down. I take Chelsea to win but narrowly 1-0 or maybe 2-1 with QPR putting up a good show and many posts tomorrow of if we play like that the rest of the season we'll be ok. The question is will they raise it and put in the effort for the less glamorous games ? |
| Forum Thread | Alan Mcdonald at 09:20 26 Jun 2012
Some things transcend footballing rivalries and I was sad to hear Alan's untimely death at the weekend. I grew up watching the players of Alan Mcdonald's era but if I'm competely honest as a Chelsea fan I couldn't stand him, could never pin it down just something about him I didn't like....Now it's all a bit obvious I couldn't stand him because he was part of a solid QPR side, was a tough tackling whole hearted centre half who would always faarking play a blinder against us !! I'm sure Mr Dixon, Speedie, Durie etc would all concur....Another reason I couldn't stand him was because deep down I wished he was playing for us instead of against us. Alan McDonald RIP |
| Forum Thread | Great stuff on here from the weekend and beyond at 16:41 21 May 2012
keep up the good work, by the way would you like some crisps with that bitter ? Anyway I'm all about love and peace spent a weekend with some top lads and met stacks of rivals who were sweet as before the game and nothing but congratulatory after even though they were clearly gutted....i think we could all learn something there. Much Love to all and good luck for next season. |

I always thought you'd have enough about you. I'm pleased as there is a little more spice to our games than Blackburn, Bolton or Wolves......see you next season. |

I was going to have a dig but reading through some of your posts they're pretty sensible in general and there is no need. Respect also to the 60% or so that stayed to the end and backed their team, to be honest they didn't deserve it, considering how much you have at stake the attitude of some of your players was shocking ! I still think you'll stay up as you seem to able to do it at home, but if you fail to beat Stoke you're as good as down...though I'm going for a 2-1 QPR win. Sincerely I hope you stay up as the banter is amusing. |
| Forum Thread | A simple change in ticketing... at 14:37 26 Jan 2012
..would have avoided this whole embarrassing situation. You should have taken the school end and given Chelsea the rest of the ground...roberts your uncle, sell out ! |
| Forum Thread | Who'd have though we would be back so soon.. at 10:51 19 Jan 2012
..is that payback I can sniff in the air. Maybe this time we won't have a three man disadvantage for most of the game ?!! ;-) Joking aside should be a cracker and my bet for the best behaved players on the pitch will be on Ferdinand and Terry who I expect to shake hands and act as if the whole situation didn't exist. |

I'm just glad you all raised above it and accepted gracefully that these things happen, particularly Warnock who I felt was very dignified. Fair to say that these things even out over a season don't you think ? |
| Forum Thread | Just the nine Chelsea/JT posts on this page !! at 16:59 21 Dec 2011
QPR slipping into dangerous territory, just three points above the relegation places you're playing one of your main rivals tonight and barely a mention.....tut, tut, support your club first then dislike others, it really should be in that order. |
| Forum Thread | Good luck tomorrow at 16:00 9 Dec 2011
..and prepare to enter the land where time stood still...apparently they are still the greatest club in the world so be sure and doff your cap in respect. The lovable rogues have also been known in recent times to drop "liquid" from the top tier onto visiting fans, best take an umbrella...just in case. Be interested to know your opinion on the mighty kop myth on your return. Where as most clubs fans readily admit the atmosphere is not great these days, barring key matches, the Liverpool legend is that it's always a great atmosphere. Not in my experience and fingers crossed you get an early goal and then it will go very quiet but don't worry the mighty kop legend will live on regardless. Arkles just up the road from the ground is good for a beer and welcomes away fans though it does fill up early...anyway have fun. |
| Forum Thread | JT Racist claims at 16:16 15 Nov 2011
I won't enter into debate as it would be beyond the majority on here, with a few notable exceptions, but as there are numerous threads calling for anything from season long bans to the electric chair, just throwing something in to think about... Whether JT said his piece in malice or not neither any of you or I have any idea therefore it's just opinion. The only reason this is dragging on is because both the FA and the police have to be seen to be doing something, if it went to court it would be laughed out ! Did anyone on the pitch hear the conversation ? It appears not. Did anyone in the crowd hear anything ? It appears not. The camera shots are inconclusive as to the context. Who raised the complaint ? someone who saw youtube/TV and fancies it may be racist, can they prove it ? no This is just another example of the sky/media driven society we live in today, when the sheep do as they're told and are oblivious to the fact....very very sad. Anyway now feel free to rant away. |

As I said last week there are no certainties in football, i suspected you may win more than some of your own fans. I have my own views on yesterday but regardless the result remains the same. Strangely as most here prior to the game said they would be content with a good performance even if they lost I kind of felt that way, though not totally satisfied I take heart from the way we bossed the game with 9 players in the second half as I feared you would and should go on to win at least 3-0. If you play with the first half intensity all season you may well end up having a good season....but will you ? |
| Forum Thread | Looking forward to Sunday... at 16:18 20 Oct 2011
Chelsea fan here (I know you love us really) out of curiosity was trawling through this site and the "we are the rangers boys" (they are a seriously weird living in cuckoo land bunch over there) you lot seem more down to earth. Not here on a wind up just genuinely pleased that you lot are back in the top flight as I grew up on the QPR Chelsea games and have had many a good trip to Loftus Road..yes I was there for the one you lot are still going on about 25 years later ! Sadly where as you could just get tickets on the day way back then, not the case today so won't be watching live as our allocation sold out in hours and i wasn't one of the lucky ones. As far as the game goes we should win, but "should" and "will" are two different things. To be honest I feel confident as we are buzzing at the moment had you played us the first couple of games you would have nicked something off us for sure, now will be tough but not impossible. Regardless of the result let's hope for a peaceful afternoon off the pitch, though from what I'm hearing there will be a few "faces" putting in an appearance so it seems unlikely...Seems like some people just never grow up ! Good luck for the rest of the season as it would be good to have these games regularly and also try and be original.. "Fat Frank" "where were you" "terrys' mum's a thief" etc etc all done to death |
