You could just have reduced that down to...."This nonsense he keeps spouting" because that'd do.

Still no answer from mango, over 48 hours and he still cannot come up with appropriate BS. Fiction is harder to write than truth.

No club buses to Watford

Then you look at the ticket prices and realise Watford are cheap, 20 quid for me, a fiver for my 16 year old so 25 quid. Treated well by the away team, ripped off by our own travel.

Four people in my car, 15 quid each, 65 quid for tickets...110 quid. Just the bus travel would have been 186 quid.

Is the world really less safe though? Or is it just that we didn't know as much about these things because it wasn't rammed down our throats? I don't know.

Our son and his friends were always out playimg when he was 6/7 right up intil we moved home when he was 10, that was in Trallwn.

Your second paragraph, as I have already said, very few people read a manifesto and even fewer governments implement all of it. Or in Starmers case actually go back on manifesto commitments, as most governments do to some extent.

People notice what is put right in front of their noses, what they see on the headlines and what politicians say in interviews.

All the proof you need for the 20mph is that more people signed the petition than voted Labour.
The changes to the electoral system and the increases in the MS's, in my mind, is something that should have been put to a referendum. These changes are too important to allow oliticians to make them without the people having their say.
Manifestos are much worse than "aren't ideal" they are actually a massive waste of time because they usually contain things that some people would call lies, things the party actually have little intention of doing or intend to do the opposite. Ask a few people what they think of Starmer's pledge not to raise taxes for the working people.

When politicians spend a lot of money on something that isn't essential whilst essential services are underfunded then I'd call it waste.

You could give me the truth but instead you give me the usual BS.

I've read some more of this, turns oiut doing what he's done has made him poor again. Had to sell his houses too.

I've been a tad harsh on Mr Sheen, I owe him an apology, sorry Michael.

I'm looking forward to the final season of "Good Omens" too.

2 days and no answers, interesting. Specially since he said to me 24 hours and that's the best you can do.

Seems the truth is easy but it takes a lot longer to come up with total BS!

It's not wht the people wanted and it's probably not what a lot of Labour voters wanted.

How many governments have ever doen everything in their manifesto? You keep saying this and I will always argue the point. Very many voters don't read a manifesto, so many just vote the same way they always have.
Then, how many voted Labour or Plaid? Even together they didn't get half the electorate behind them because more than half didn't even bother to vote.

The extra Am's and the 20mph was what the politicians wanted, not all the people, just some of the people.

I can't speak for Swansea but in Neath now there are just 6 U16 teams and they play each other 4 times to get the number of games up.
I rarely see kids playing on the local parks, as you say when I was a kid I'd meet my mates on our local field and we'd play for hours, jumpers for goalposts and going until the obligatory parent hurling abuse in the distance to scare us into going home.

Swansea senior league is barely a shadow of what it was 30 years ago, 5 senior divisions, 7 reserve divisions and 7 on a Sunday too. Now there's just 3 Saturday divisions and no Sunday league at all. It was once the second largest league in the Uk I believe. Now kids would rather be on their consoles or on tiktok, Insta etc.

To answer WR, I rarely go to midweek games now because I'm up for work at 04.45 (well I walk the dogs first, then work) but I aint getting any younger and I don't usually watch the whole game on tv, this knackered old fart is off to bed by 20.30.
I have applied for a new job though and it doesn't start til 90 minutes later than my current job, so maybe that'll change!

No club buses to Watford

That right there is the problem, 46.50 per person, 93 quid to Watford. It wouldn't cost me that much in my car and if I took along just one more person it'd be less than 20 quid each I reckon, 25 with parking.

They need to fins a bus supplier who charges less and then take deposits off people that are returnable as long as the bus isn't damaged. Or maybe do allocated seating and any trouble makers get banned and lose their season ticket if they have one, obviously?

I tend to drive anyway because it's cheaper and easier, leave when I want, stop when I want etc. But my son wanted to go to Bristol and I won't take the car there and refused to pay the 63.50 for the bus for us.

NO, I didn't use figures, I made s atatement, fugures are numbers, I used no numbers.

Are you saying that voting the tories in for 14 years didn't cost this country billions? You must be aware that in the grand schem of things 140 billion (now that's a figure!) is around 10% of the Uk budget. That is if 140 billion is anywhere near accurate of course.

If politicians didn't blow our money on vanityu projects, HS2 as you have always banged on about is estimated to cost over 80 billion and for what? When we talk about waste it puts the brexit costs into second place.

If our politicians across the board wre better, did better there would be a lot more than an extra 140 billion to spend.

Things need to change.

If it's a lack of passion it has come about after too many years of boring rubbish, too much nonsense from our owners and people either not being able to afford it OR simply finding something else to do.

I have streamed a few games this season, been to 5 away games...or is it 6? On a few occassions sunder Williams the game was so dire I chose to walk the dogs instead of carrying on watching.

I don't know about Portsmoth's pricing but Bradford massively reduced prices to get the fans in, I don't know what their prices are now mind.

To get the fans back we just need to entertain, it's something we hadn't done for most of the time since Russell Martin joined. The last 3 games have been a breath of fresh air. The first thing I did when Williams was sacked was buy tickets for Boro and Burnley and I have also got new season tickets for myself and my son. Better marketing may help but ultimately what happens on the pitch is the biggest factor and that is ruled by what happens in the boardroom.

it's easier to lose fans than it is to get them back. If not for my son I would probably have stopped completely and wouldn't go back, I was quite comfortable with my armchair view.

The best way to get them back is to keep entertaining and win more games. The biggest turn off was slow, boring, repeptitve football and losing too often.

Which reality? Which one has he failed to grasp, in your opinion?

Is it unrealistic to vote against a budget that will cost more jobs? Is it unrealistic to say the Labour government has cut the WFA, is talking of cutting welfare, has raised taxes with more rises likely...is all that wrong?
