Am I the only one admiring Brendan Rodgers going all out for the FA Cup,
I use to hate Liverpool, but with Brendan and Suarez something different about them.

Laudrup´s lack of trust in the development players
at 13:48 16 Feb 2014

We got Vazquez, last season Itey Shechter.
all of them worse in my opinion to Rory Donelly who could have gotten his chance.

the same with Tiendalli why play him instead of Richards ?
who looks decent on the ball.

When he trusted Ben Davies look what happened he became a star.

and to an extend Bartley who I think is better than Amat

Ashley Willliams says Swansea's derby win was for Michael Laudrup
at 16:21 10 Feb 2014

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11731/9159297/premier-league-ashley-will

Wales defender Williams believes the players also have to take responsibility for the Dane's exit, and described the win over the Bluebirds as a thank you to their former boss.

"There is a bit of a thank you in this performance - that is how I feel. Hopefully he (Laudrup) was watching."
Ashley Williams
"We feel 100 per cent responsible," said Williams. "You might look at the manager or look at his staff but at the end of the day, you are on the pitch.

"There is a bit of a thank you in this performance - that is how I feel. Hopefully he was watching.

"It was not that we didn't perform for him and we performed for Monks - it is just that he did this as well.

"It is the same team he had and the players he brought in. This is for everyone involved."

The 29-year-old also revealed how Monk had made his players sit and watch a documentary - BBC Wales' 'Swansea City: The Fall and Rise' - to remind them of the club's history and their climb from the depths of League Two to the heights of the Premier League.

"We had a bit of homework. It helped a bit," Williams said.

"I watched it and it helped me. I have been here for six years and I found out some stuff I didn't know, and it helps you respect the place a bit more.

"It's important. Garry knows the club - he is someone who has been involved for so long and, for myself and Leon (Britton), we have built it up.

"We feel like we have built it to a level and we do not want to see it go so quickly. It is our fault. If we pulled our socks up, we could get ourselves out of it."

Garry Monk interview - Why Laudrup got sacked
at 19:47 8 Feb 2014

I believe Garry Monk just gave away in his interview why ML got sacked.

paraphrasing he basically said that we lately have been negative,
reacting to other teams instead of playing our own game.

putting Jordi Amat in the midfield instead of Britton against West Ham springs to my mind.

My biggest worry
at 03:44 5 Feb 2014

The Laudrup disciples, many of the players who came from Spain very isolated here in Swansea, Michu chosing to extend his contract because of ML.
Canás chosing Swansea despite being offered higher wages at WBA.

I think the timing is odd, it should have been done earlier, or later.

How will Chico react with Monk guiding him ?,

I hope the players show professionalism and go on, we are getting slacked everywhere
and we wont be any media darlings, but we dont care !

Mirror article : also mentioned the Spanish players being a clique of their own, not healthy for the club.

Much of our blame seem to be directed at Chico or Ben Davies
and the shit player that is Tiendalli.

but Ashley Williams have not really been himself for quite some time now,
and I dont know why we always seem to give him a pass.

Is not only about our games anymore
at 15:15 1 Feb 2014

This is the dangerous situation, if the relegation battlers do well against the sides we lost too, then we will be innit for a dogfight.

Hoping the bottom teams lose against the top sides is another game itself we have to watch out for.

Could have gambled 5 to 10 mill. to survive at least.

If we go down it will be a total loss in terms of revenues for over 70 million pounds,
surely it is worth taking a shot at staying up and improving
Tiendalli´s position. the amat situation and a better winger.

If we go down we will still miss out on a lot of revenues, I just dont see why saving money in this January is good in the long term, not advocating overspending but if you losing revenues of 70 or 80. is not that big of a difference still a huge loss, but you at least tried to stay up for that 10 more.
