Can't find footage, but In The Loop was great political satire.

Great thread - Andre Previn and M&W has to be my vote. How Andre stayed straight faced is amazing.

Driving
at 14:10 27 Jan 2026

I know we all like to piss 'n' moan ( piss 'n' moan blues by the Gourds - great ) about driving in London, but it seems like every other street has a burst water main and temp traffic lights.
What on earth would it be like if we had a winter like '47 or '63 ?
What's it like where you are ?

And the Italian man that went into a cafe and said “I want a pizza”. The lady said “the toilets are over there sir”.

I'm quite fond of him. He had some rollicking games for us, the unicorn celebration and as stated a good man off the pitch. Best of British luck, Michi mate.

I'd like to say some of these threads/posts are liquid syntax but I don't know what that means.

Tremendous shot by Ollie Rathbone-if his brother Basil had been playing, things could have been even worse.

pub opening times on match days

I know a bloke who drinks in the William Morris from 9am to 4 pm 7 days a week.
His cries of “ yoo RRRRSSS” when you walk in get louder as the day progresses.

Marti gone...

He did seem a nice chap. Giorgio from Dublin on .org posted a pic of him smiling and shaking hands with Marti in the office entrance. I had it as a screensaver on my ipad for a time.

Manager or players?
at 14:15 25 Jan 2026

Yes, it's annoying because virtually all the players in the squad have shown they are capable of playing either very or pretty well.
Their good play doesn't coincide with other players or only in 30 minute or so spells.
On their day they're a match for most sides in this league.

I remember the last time we had a positive goal difference, somebody had written “Votes For Women” on the wall outside my house.

What exactly is the rule about all this holding ? I seem to remember some twaddle about you can hold if the other player holds as well
