Happy St George's Day

St Patrick was Welsh not Irish so what is your point.

Christian countries adopt saints from the Christian world they do not need to have been born in that country.

After all Christ was born in Israel and so was St Andrew.

Try speaking and writing English unless you are American.

It is characterised.

Think the BBC has been impartial on Ukraine. They have correctly reported that Ukraine, a sovereign independent country, was invaded by Russia 3 years ago and that Russia invaded the Crimea 10 years ago.

I think the BBC is pro hamas. They still refuse to call it a terrorist organisation which has been responsible for thousands of deaths of Palestinians for their attacks on Israel.

The UK funds Wales by giving it funding of £130 per person for every £100 spend in England.

Westminster also offered to full fund the M4 relief road ad part of the UK infrastructure programme. Drakeford turned it down for political reasons while excepting UK taxpayers money, via the EU, to part fund the heads of the valley road.

Well you have beaten us about 10 less than we have beaten you in EFL PL matches

Mind you season was a record for you. The 4 points you gained in our matches is the most you have ever taken off us. This is the first time you have managed to take four points of us since 1988.

Still not managed a double yet.

Date set for Nantes hearing on Cardiff quest for Sala compensation

Correct Resolven has two chips on his shoulders the size of Kilvey Hill.
One seeme to concern Nantes for some reason the other is his hate for the Trust, which helped saved a bankrupt football team many years ago.

It was you that mentioned 1982/83 in your post. I was just explaining gates were low everywhere 40 years ago with dilapidated stadiums , hooliganism and very poor facilities.

Demand for tickets is so high tomorrow they are starting to open the blocks, usually closed off, between home and away supporters.

Before you put away your Newcastle and Sunderland tinted glasses.

In 1982/83

Average division one attendances were 20,000
Newcastle managed 24,000 although they were In Division Two and Sunderland managed 17,000. Liverpool could only manage 34,000 and Everton 20,000.

This was an era of falling Gates throughout the football league

What a bunch of ********

There is no carbon in hydrogen.
Steel is an alloy of Carbon and Iron. Coking coal is used to both heat and the iron ore and to provide the carbon to combine with iron to make the alloy of steel.

Varying the amount of carbon plus other compounds make different grades of steel including stainless steel.

I agree it was nonsense that Drakeford and his government closed Wales only anthracite open cast site. Anthracite is used throughout the water purification process by every water coming the UK. It was also used to power all the heritage railways in the UK. Now we have to import all the coal we use for all industries using Fossil fuels to transport it from thousands of miles away.

What a mad division
at 08:18 17 Apr 2025

The premise of the article that Swansea can still be mathematical relegated is nonsense. Although in theory all the teams below Swansea, except Plymouth and Luton, can match Swansea points total it is impossible for all of them to gain maximum points as they have to play each other with Hull having to play both Derby and Portsmouth.

Sloppy badly researched journalism.

US/UK/EU - the way forward
at 08:05 17 Apr 2025

Of course we should be outside the undemocratic EU.
They are a trade cartel completely opposed to free trade unless it is within their cartel.

The majority of the UK, including Wales, sensibly voted to leave this undemocratic bod. The EU is stagnating.

The EU does not and never has had a defence force

Thankfully NATO has more or less kept peace in Europe since the last World War. Most of the trouble in Europe has been in ex communist countries like Yugoslavia and the ex Soviet bloc countries who wanted independence from Russia.

I agree with you the EU countries, who are part of NATO, need to pay their full share of NATO costs

Date set for Nantes hearing on Cardiff quest for Sala compensation
at 07:53 17 Apr 2025

He was a registered Cardiff player. The transfer had been completed and he had signed a contract. He was totally the responsibility of Cardiff FC. It was Cardiff's fault he was not insured and Cardiff should have insisted he took a flight on a regular airline or a reputable charter flight.

How on earth can Cardiff claim they would have avoided relegation if he played the rest of the season.

RIP Sala.

Tickets for Hull game less than £15 for an adult and only £1 for children. Hopefully our armchair fans will turn up and buy them.

What handouts. The government was given Wales the money for provide for UK infrastructure.

Funny how you were always happy to accept "handouts" from the EU even if the money came from UK taxpayers.

A bit like the Russian invasion on the Ukraine. I suppose Putin thinks he is a god though and the Russian people worship him.
