From random rumours, which probably means diddly squat, Cook, Kolli and Frey may be available enough for some minutes !!! Rest of the injured heroes not going to be near selection for either of these games... For me Kolli is the most important player to return. Ie He actually has some ability to put the ball into the back of the net - seems to be quite an important role in football - who would have thought it !!! [Post edited 3 Apr 14:13]

Yes I saw this. Poor chap. Was a trailblazer as a referee though being a black man in charge of football matches at the highest levels, so absolute respect to him for that alone and no one deserves such troubling disabilites at the age he still is. |

If we lose both, we truly are in the mucky stuff !!! Even two, three or four points from Cardiff at home, and Oxford away and I feel we are safe. Zero points with rivals claiming three points on us, time to realise having Charlie Kelman up front, is the best option next season, as he would be proven at the level we will be playing . Squeaky Bum Time Indeed !!! [Post edited 3 Apr 13:29]

He has been awful all season and when fit. only makes the bench.... Yes, we all know what will happen, although if he is given a rough reception from the crowd, I think he is the type that wont play well as a result of that !!! |

There was one, our family loved which was Jumping Jack. Very simple but made us laugh in the early 80s. Track n Field was another. Destroyed my 'n' button which most did. Yep football manager and you didn't have to play for the same time as an entire season to get through a season. I actually bought an arcade table machine few years ago with Galaxians, Defender, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Pacman Breakout Frogger and various others. Will wait then for the spectrum then. |

Quite interested in recreating moments of my younger existence And noted replica new version called The Spectrum selling for arounds £90 and possibly in time the old Atari football and tennis console which is a similar price Anyone found these gems online and taken the plunge. Considering wasting a bit of dosh.... Beats watching QPR or maybe I am a hopeless case !!!! |

Not at football, but the most innovative for me for snacking grub, was a company that did a hog roast, with literally the pig rotating on a spit above their portable barbecue. A lot of local pubs used this many years ago. |

Randomly, during one of my summers off from uni, way back when, one summer I had a temporary job for Letherby and Christopher. They were the suppliers of hospitality and catering for Arsenal football club at the time. Couple of years after I was there, they had a brief period supplying and providing catering staff and provisions for QPR. I was working in the accounts team and even way back then I noticed how much money they made out of these contracts. There weren't too many Mini Metros in the car park.... As for football food, it's always fricking awful, it never improves and surely it always has to be inedible. It's folklore that states it truly has to be gut wrenching. Hence why I only occasionally have a snickers and a coffee.... |

Likewise As a teenager reading the fog, was very dark and all sorts of horrific scenarios occurring. Even as a young person reading it, I thought how can this man write in this way. Remember questioning where he could dredge these images of deeply dark and depressing happenings from. I assumed, probably incorrectly, that his life had been an almighty challenge previously..... As a teenage wannabe, I weirdly was obsessed with reading anything by Stephen King and James Herbert. Picked up a Stephen King book recently and delved inside and wow, it's pretty horrific and extremely graphic. If kids today are affected by wannabe influencers on youtube and tiktok, King's mind must have extreme perversion and filth within. Good job he let's it out by simply writing. But I had an obsession with it back then and was totally hooked. When i read one recently, I felt wow - no wonder I had issues.... [Post edited 1 Apr 23:45]

It read that Gatting was 14, so feasible... Obviously bit of artistic licence Am guessing we were considering to sign Parkes for first team squad, whilst Gatting on trial for schoolboys. Anyhow, spoil sport !!! 🙂 [Post edited 1 Apr 22:27]

We need the data stats on them and then we can justify spending £12 million on their central defender, central midfielder and centre forward then.... Sounds like a plan.... All those in favour, say 'aye' ... What could go wrong with such a strategy.... [Post edited 1 Apr 22:22]

Would say you could give that as an assist to Kelman. Good strong battle and shot by Charlie, rebound from goalies save is tapped in. Playing though at the local park with ground and attendance to match... [Post edited 1 Apr 19:58]

Weird Random Fact I found out today that the ex England cricketer and captain Mike Gatting was on trial as a goalkeeper for QPR at the age of 14. He wasn't successful but the other trialist that day was chosen. A certain Philip Parkes !! Qpr's loss was England crickets gain. Poor old Mike was told he was too fat and too short. Hence fat Gatt took up cricket instead... |
 | Forum Thread | Games left- So simple at 12:32 1 Apr 2025
Cardiff, Oxford, Bristol, Preston Swansea Next five Well if you can't get four points from.those Then Burnley at home.- Tough Then Sunderland resting players for playoffs. Much better for QPR than it seems Couldn't much better run in tbf. |

Appreciate the loyalty of Le Tissier, but would suggest his comfort where he was, meant that his ambitions were limited. Decent and sublime skill at times but a move to a title challenger, i think he would have had limitations. Think he knew this also. Fear in a similar way to Grealish, Eze would be decent but not outstanding. If he was massively bothered about doubling his salary, I think a move could be engineered, but perhaps a la MLT, he is happy with his lot as things stand. |

Derby's game in hand at home to Preston Last thing we need is a home win Be only five points ahead of relegation zone. I personally am not worrying regards relegation. Feel there is too many teams lower than ourselves. But Wednesday night truly need to become PNE superfans. Mr Eustace and Co, need their momentum stopped pronto . [Post edited 31 Mar 14:57]
