True. Although I'm still scratching my head about Ayew. Came with a reputation and loads of top flight experience, but I haven't the foggiest about how he's supposed to fit into our team. He's ok coming into the box from out on the wing, but that seems to be it so far. But the problem with that is he offers nothing as a winger. He was totally anonymous when played in Siggy's role (which I and a lot of others thought would suit him). He's anonymous up top. There's no way he'd get into the midfield, and suggesting he'd be cover for the fullbacks would be getting silly.
