Thanks for that TVOS. Some way to go to beat that record then! Just looking at the dates and trying to find the stat myself - that record run started with Dale's record victory I think - almost 90 years to the day by my reckoning. | | | |

TVOS is obviously the man with the correct answer, but as a stab in the dark i'd go for the start of the 85/86 season.
If my ageing memory serves me right, I think we were top of the league after 3 games, Fred Ratcliffe passed away, we played United and avoided re-election at Peterboro last game of the season #Eventful
Having said that, this probably happened over 3 different seasons and my memory is playing tricks on me. |  |
