The Saturday morning shows at the South Harrow Odeon. Now there are blasts from the past and there are blasts from the past; and that is a proper blast. Lord knows what we ate back then, but I doubt any of it was remotely healthy.
Next week, Shot will take us down memory lane with a visit to Sellanby!
Blimey........ what a great memory. Saturday mornings - the Odeon, then Sellanby to swap some records, followed by S.Harrow market then back to Rayners Lane to pick up the H1 to take me in to see Wealdstone play - too young to go to QPR alone so when dad wasn't about I would head to Lower Mead. Changing ends at halftime to be behind the goal they were attacking.
Guilty pleasures - Emerson Lake & Palmer (Still listen regularly to Brain Salad Surgery) and live Genesis Albums (In the cage/Afterglow and all 27 mins of Supper's Ready) This would probably be Ok except I prefer Phil Collins to Peter Gabriel as lead singer!
