BOS as a false 9
at 01:43 26 Feb 2020

Showed another string to his bow by playing the fulcrum role well when Hugill was substituted. Showed great strength holding the ball up, terrorised Derby's defence with his pace and dovetailed beautifully with Eze and Chair. Such a shame no one read the cross along the 6-yard box for a simple tap-in.

Warburton post-match interview

Usual message about being more clinical and putting the ball in the back of the net.

At the end, MW mentions that we were very close to losing a couple of our young players. Offers were received but deemed not good enough by the board.

Birmingham v QPR live on Sky

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere so thought it prudent to post for those who can't make it in person.

Having finally secured this season's first clean sheet, it's time to break the Sky hoodoo.

QPR looking at yet another keeper
at 19:27 18 Sep 2019

I realise that Lumley has made a few errors but I'm genuinely surprised at this given the number of keepers currently on our books. Apparently QPR are trialling 29 year-old Austrian goalkeeper Heinz Lindner.

Lumley
at 03:07 15 Sep 2019

I've seen a few posts hinting at "the elephant in the room" (whatever that means). This is a forum so let's just cut to the chase. This season Lumley has been prone to some brain farts (Stoke and Brizzle away spring to mind). Whilst you could put some down to inexperience, today's mistake for Luton's first goal was simply unacceptable. Every week Warburton talks about cutting out individual errors and learning from mistakes but Joe doesn't seem to be taking heed. So what do you good people think? Does Joe deserve another chance or is it time to give Kelly his shot?

Premier League clubs tracking Eze

Scouts from 5 PL clubs at last night's match, apparently to watch Eze. Thank heavens he signed a contract extension.

With FFP still casting a shadow over the club, would you take a big money offer for him now or prefer him to stick around for a while?

Vehicle Emissions - Real World v Lab Testing
at 15:36 17 Oct 2017

An interesting article on real world versus lab testing. Some surprising results that makes a mockery of Sadiq Khan's claim that newer diesels are less polluting and questions the accuracy of lab testing and motives behind the scrappage scheme. The results for the Nissan Qashqai are particularly surprising.
