Had to make do with a pint of Wobbly Bob (6%) then a pint of Saltaire Odyssey (5.5%) this afternoon. Nowt like a wet Monday in Rochdale, except perhaps a wet Monday in Mechelen? We're spoiled these days!

Where has Wobbly Bob on draught? Only ask cause the Father in Law is a Camra flat beer type drinker & know it’s his favourite draft ale please & thanks

I’m a Sam Smiths lager lout 😀😀

Regal Moon, £1.99 a pint on a Monday, in excellent condition with it's usual creamy head

The Saltaire Odyssey was on at the Flying Horse, and the home-made Cheese'n'Onion Pie, Chunky Chips & Baked Beans was fabulous for a fiver (as part of their 2 mains for a tenner deal)

If your father-in-law likes Wobbly Bob, has he ever had Sam Smiths "Stingo"? It's about the same strength, comes in a pint bottle (at £8 odd - Humphrey prices by alcoholic content as you probably know) and is bloody gorgeous. Don't know if the Black Dog do it, but the Roebuck certainly do...

Yorkshire Stingo (8%) is £7.78 a bottle, just looked at the price list 😂

Brewed once a year at harvest apparently & not much call for it up here, used to be £9 something so gone down in price.. looking at where it was, would you pay nearly a tenner for a bottle of beer??

Could have 5 pints for that 😀👍

I'd already had five pints of Taddy Lager before the Stingo...
