First time I met Chris was in a pub near Crewe's ground. We won 3-2 that day, Trevor Sinclair scored one. I remember Chris telling me then he'd been to about 500 consecutive games home and away. Proper dedication that is. Well done to him. |

I’d like to also say until recently he was rarely in the ground five seconds after the final whistle blew , this has changed in recent years as I drive more and I don’t move .
