Ideally no sponsorship looks best but I wonder if Ruben would be interested in having Westports Malaysia sponsor the shirts? At least they are a thriving business.

Does this mean we can actually buy adult team shirts with no sponsor on them?

Having had this happen twice over the last few years with a sponsor should we not actually put the Kiyan Prince Foundation on our shirts next season and get the stadium sponsored instead?

Never knowingly right.

'An independent review of the regulation of the failed betting site Football Index — the self-styled “football stock market” — has heavily criticised the actions and attitude of both the Gambling Commission and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) ahead of FI’s collapse in March, which left at least £90m of users’ stakes trapped in the platform.

The Department Of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) appointed Malcolm Sheehan QC, a specialist in product liability and group actions, to review the regulation of Football Index in June. His report, published on Wednesday, reveals profound ignorance of the platform’s structure and business model on the part of the Gambling Commission, and a reluctance by both regulators to take adequate responsibility for protecting the site’s users.'

Doesn’t surprise me about the FCA. As regulators go they are awful. Cannot see potential problems ahead of themselves if these problems were illuminated with big neon signs. Typical of their shitiness is the payday lending scandal. If they could never predict that these lenders were intent on targeting the financially vulnerable and ill-informed of society then they’ll never be able to see anything. And yet my own FCA fees are increasing by nearly 30% this year.
