https://www.daletrust.co.uk/2022/02/curry-night-tickets-on-sale/

We are delighted to announce the return of the Dale Trust Curry Night that will be held on Thursday 14th April.

In a twist, this year it will be held at the Ratcliffe Suite at the Football Club with the food provided by the highly rated Bombay Brew. The reason for the departure is by hosting it at the Ratcliffe Suite, we can up the capacity to 150 where previously we have been restricted to less than a hundred.

We are currently working on the menu and the speakers but we are keen to ensure that no one will be left disappointed on the night. We will have all the usual extras on the night such as raffles and auctions in what has become one of the best non footballing nights on the Dale calendar.

All profits from the Curry Night will go towards the legal costs in defending the petition from Morton House. (anhttpd whilst you’re here, if you want to donate, go to http://upthedalenotforsale.co.uk)

Tickets are £30 to Trust members and £35 to non members. Sales are limited to a maximum of four per person and there will be a priority period for Trust members between now and Sunday 13th February. No reservations will be accepted. Tickets will go on open sale on Sunday 13th February. Any tickets for non members during the priority period will be refunded.

We will email everyone closer to the night with regards to seating plans but all multiple ticket purchases will be sat together.

This event is always sold out, so I've no doubt that will be the case again here this year.

Tickets bought, can't wait for the guests to be announced.

Neil Edwards would be a great one to get.

The early takeup isn't a suprise.

This is a good fundraiser too for the Trust, established for many years with many special guests.

Yep.

100notout has resurrected last year's thread about the night!

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I thought last night was the best curry night I've ever attended, admittedly I've only been to a few. A big thanks to the caterers for the lovely food and also to the staff in the 1907 lounge who were so efficient. The biggest thanks to the Trust for organising a great night with three legendary guest speakers who lived up to expectations. The best thing about our fantastic football club is the fans, that will never change.

Thanks to the trust for organising last night and thanks to Bombay brew for the food - top stuff.

Most of all thanks to the speakers, who were brilliant. If the current players showed half as much passion as Lyndon Simmonds we wouldn't be in this mess.

first one I have been to & thoroughly enjoyed it ( although some hand pulled ale would have improved on it). All 3 speakers quite different and complimented each other well. I thought Stanton came over as genuinely enjoying his time here, & the story about Notts County fans made me laugh.

Good honest Q&A at the end with no punches pulled especially from Lyndon

Well done the trust for putting it on
