Probably his quite often being quite poor in games north of Watford and by and large us not playing with wingers so much of his time was spent at RWB/RB and he wasn't the best defensively not unlike the current encumbent

I think he was on quite a big wedge so another one who had to go in another round of austerity a few years ago.
I could never figure him out as a player, he was decent, but also as a winger he never seemed willingly to try and run in behind a full back, which frustrated the hell out of me.
