Two random thoughts from watching it back:
1) imagine Madsen of two seasons ago knee sliding and chopping his ears to the West Ham fans
2) Mbengue had a warning before he have away the pen. Ball watching and ignoring his man when Charles tipped a Bowen shot round the post. I am a big fan of his but he really needs to find a way to sort that habit out |

Unbelievably quick feet to set himself for the second save |

I thought the same... was hoping to see a few more there, especially given the sandpaper stuff. Hopefully the weekend will get slightly more.
I'll be at the cape town test in the new year - imagine it'll be 90%+ England fans |

Also struggling with this. Managed to listen by unmuting, as above. But it stops playing if I leave that page. Sure I'm missing something obvious! |

I'm happy. Yes shocking first half, slack, mistakes all over the place. I'm sure they will analyse it.
But that's not my job, so I'm focusing on that second half. Guts, togetherness, entertainment. When we equalised most of them immediately ran back to half way to try and win it. Adamson, young lad on the other side of the world, giving everything coming into his own. Paul Smyth, Nico Madsen, Jimmy Dunne, Koki Saito, Ronnie, Alfie, all of them really. All likeable, hardworking, clearly care, pride in the shirt. Same with the manager.
Old school noisy, chaos. Reminded me of some of those Rowlands, Cook, Furlong era days. I am generally quite easily pleased, but honestly that will do for me. |

Also really liked how Jimmy described the way he wants young players to feel around the training ground. Sounded very genuine. Great leadership |

I think we're a similar vintage... I'd have gone very similar but Padula at left back. And maybe Marcus Bignot at right back - I used to love him for some reason. |

Optimistically on those missed sitters last year - at least he was getting the chances. Can think of a few QPR strikers who weren't even doing that!
Will be very interesting to see how this one goes- good luck to him. |

He went out of his way to have a photo with a little kid at one point in the second half. Said the same about hoping to be back next week |
