How can Montague continue any links with Notts County and be DoF with us?
It's quite possible that we will be in the same division next season.

Quite easily. He can still work for football radar and be at Swansea.

So we don't want a full tone DoF? We are happy to have a part time one?
Plus, that is owned by the directors of a rival. So, we are happy that our DoF works for the owners of a rival team?
It opens a lot of questions about Colemans judgement and aspirations for the club when the DoF is some what indebted to the owners of a rival team in a lower division

It's not as though we are in a mess and need someone's full attention to build structure, organisation and capability.

Agree.

Sounds to me like we are not bringing on board a full time DOF, who will be committed to us.

Feels like he’s going to work for us part time, while we lease part of the Football Radar program.

Really don’t get what’s going on at all and I’ve read all the Indy reports on the matter 🤷‍♂️

He will presumably be a full time DoF with interests and ownership in a football analytics firm. He will not be employed by the firm unless Coleman allows him to do consultancy for them.

He nay be called a "non executive" director of the firm which means he is not working for them but giving them advice and sitting on their board. It happens in business. He attends board meetings.

Presumably the analytics firm is entirely separate of Notts county but might give their service cheaply or free because the owner says so.

This arrangement could see a closer working relationship between the two clubs loans etc. Swansea Notts co and the analytics firm all acting independently but working in cooperation.

Swansea will have to pay for the analytics but with goodwill might be able to get it on a trial discount or offset against loans or player sales.

The Swedish guy is already signed.

This is promising. I have posted elsewhere about conflicts of interest.

He’s the head man at football radar beneath the owners at Notts County.

Not a case of Coleman allowing him to operate at football radar it’s one of the main reasons he wanted Montague.

The loans reasoning of course and a tighter link is already mentioned in the report.

Widell came from Montague 100%

Quote : We now know for sure that Montague was in Swansea on numerous occasions during January, and we now definitely know that Melker Widell from AaB was straight from Richard Montague as his club Notts County were well off being able to pay the fee and salary. But as we reported yesterday it is certain that Melker came from Montague with the consent of the Reedtz brothers who own Notts County and Football Radar, a very successful tool in researching players at all levels.

Football Radar is not owned by Notts County. The owners of Notts county and Football Radar are the same.

The owners of Notts County owners Football Radar as well but they are separate companies.

Swansea have given the top job full time. He cannot be expected to continue working with Football Radar full time but he can remain a director. Swansea will have to buy their software and gave already tested it with the Swedish player.

Montague could be allowed to work for Football Radar either with Swansea consent or with a few paid to Swansea. It is a mutually beneficial arrangement which can be worked out I would think..

We’ve been reporting on this for weeks, and long before anyone else.

I know the exact positions at football radar and Notts county. I’ve edited and researched with Liam all that has been put on this site.
