To back up the observations about staff, one of my neighbours works on a high dependency ward. She has numerous stories that are not acceptable, the latest is about a patient who was being maintained by machines, when they sadly died to the consultant and anaesthetist refused to turn off the equipment because " the next shift can do it "
How on earth people think this is okay is beyond me. |

I have not said SYL is a political prisoner, but in recent years we have seen the Government using the law to their own ends.
Demonstrate against sensitive issues and you are arrested charged and sentenced in 48 hours in some cases, on average it takes 200 days plus to get to a magistrates court case heating.
That is the nature of the two tier policing used to help the Government, people are not treated equally under the law. |

I agree none, bearing in mind we have people chucking their passports and documentation into the sea the only logical conclusion is to stop them all or at the very least refuse entry to anyone we can't verify.
The 40 percent reduction is on a crap process that lets in terrorists and rapists like the case I posted. The process has to change, I cant be pleased about anything about it, to do otherwise would be to tolerate the intolerable. |

You use only one example and don't forget that the idiot Gordon Brown bailed out the banks to the tune of 100s of millions of taxpayer pounds without any repayment terms whatsoever.
You need to think about the person who builds a business to employ 500 people and that business generates £20 million as year in tax revenue.
Do you want to encourage that person or take their wealth off them? |

I know nothing of the case or the legal basis of the case, but the logic of the poster's argument is that if there is no legal case for imprisonment then someone would be imprisoned for other reasons. |

Can't celebrate letting in 10s of thousands people of unknown background.
This country is a gutless.
Just buy a few hundred coastguard boats and pick them up and return then them to the unsafe country that is France.
We send 10s of Billions to Ukraine but we can't manage the English Channel, we are all being played big time. |
