Fair play to Ralphie.
He saw what shit Sport Republic we’re going to dish up.
Got out.
Took a nice paid break on Southampton Football Club and got back into management.

Clever man.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Getting rid of Ralph = the mess we are in now.

I wholly disapprove of what you say and will defend to the death your right to say it.

What position in The Premier League were we when he was sacked?

17th, 18th, I don't recall, it wasn't great I know, Ralph was running out of steam to be sure, but my view always was that he was a good fit for SFC and sticking with him was our best hope of avoiding the drop that season.

Nothing that has happened since has changed my mind, in fact the opposite - it has reinforced that position.

Ralph should have long been sacked before he did, players didn’t like him, record defeats all over the place. It worked with rohl, but then went rapidly downhill. SR. Wanted him sacked in the summer but got persuaded by Semmens to keep him. Then the relegation disaster unfolded.
