Teenagers in trouble can be guided to good ways 11:16 - Mar 17 with 698 views | ReslovenSwan1 | https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c2kg1ezyv5xo.amp A mother took the trouble making son in London back to the family home in Ghana on holiday and then refused to let him come back unless he buckled down. No sign of Papa of course. In another case another another troubled teenager took his mom to court under the same circumstances and happily lost. I have heard of horror stories from Ghana from someone else. A bit of discipline to never does any harm. There should be far more schemes by the authorities to break up the gangs and get some productivity from lost youths and delinquents. It would have to have an element if compulsion as in this case. Taking youngster from ethnic group back to the family home for a spell would give them perspective and a little status [Post edited 17 Mar 11:45]

Why shouldn't a bit of dixcipline be enforced on every kid and if their parents are useless, on them too. Far too many feckless parents (not the words I really want to use) raise problem kids. The softer we have gone on young people the worse things have gotten. And to point out the glaringly obvious, it's not just "ethnic" kids nor is it kids whose families are in Ghana. Many troubled non white kids are born and raised in the UK.

I just thought the post was blatantly racist, but that's probably just me.

This case was removing the teenager back thousands of miles to his land of heritage. It has done him a power of good. If the kid was Welsh in wales it would not work so well as he could simply run away back to his mates. He was duped for his own good. Seeing his own heritage was a benefit to him It may sound racist to some who do not understand the concept. Teenage gang crime in London is perceived by the public at least as an Afro British issue.

Are we really at the stage where parents cannot be bothered or not care anymore . Lets get the Home Office , parasite lawyers and the rest of the hangers on to push this and other cases to the front page headline news . job done and compo incoming as a bonus . My local bobbie on the beat , lived in a Police House up the road from us was a tidy guy . Annoy him and my parents knew before any nonsense ASBO and so liberal courts .

Parents aren't allowed to dicipline their children anymore, the nanny state does that for them, and it seems to be working well.
