Sad News on 08:15 - Apr 13 with 909 views | heatwave | Yes remember Screeno playing early 70s. His brother Willy also played for us in midfield at the same time. RIP Tony
Sad News on 10:16 - Apr 13 with 822 views | TimBowen | I too have fond memories of the Screen brothers down at the Vetch. It was a time when my father, grandfather, uncle and I, used to watch from the open (Town) end. After watching the first half there and, if we were attacking the Double Decker goal in the second half, with a sparse crowd and few, if any stewards, we'd wander onto the North Bank, standing in line with the penalty box, to watch the second half there. The mention of Tony Screen's sad passing, has brought back so many memories of those times. Thank you Tony, for the excitement and entertainment you helped provide on matchdays for a young lad back in the day. The love for the club you and other Swans players helped to inspire in me, has created a life-long bond. RIP YJB

RIP. A nice reminder of the days when you could watch behind the goal in the first half and wander around the ground to watch the second half from behind the goal.

Yes Carl Slee's family are cousins I believe. Don't think the Screen brothers are related though maybe wrong. Fond memories of the Screen brothers - both local lads and went on to play a bit in the Swansea Thursday league after the Swans. How times have changed.

Sad News on 15:36 - Apr 13 with 542 views | builthjack | I read somewhere once that he was working somewhere after retiring, and raised a couple of grand by doing a bucket collection where he was working in the mid eighties crisis. Can’t remember the full details. Keith may know more.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Tony worked for many years for Swansea City Council. I believe there will be a minutes applause before the Hull game .
