| Preston’s gaffer 19:48 - Nov 1 with 1793 views | saint22 | How we could do with hearing this “ We were particularly good in the second half and thoroughly deserved it, it takes a lot of work and a lot of discipline for the players to execute that and they were fantastic." | | | | |
| Preston’s gaffer on 20:06 - Nov 1 with 1684 views | Southamptonfan | Preston were everything we aren't. Well organised, well drilled, hard working, every player in their position. They don't have super stars, just hard working, all in, disciplined, mostly experienced players who know how to get results working as a team. Will Still's team are all over the place, and the opposition continue to take advantage and take the points. | |

Spot on. No big name players, no big egos, just a group of well drilled no-nonsense players doing what is required of them by a no-nonsense manager who knows the Football League. All overseeen by owners who don’t think they know better than everyone else when in fact they know fc uk all. By the way, PNE had 8 players out today, I don’t know enough about them to say how many would have played if fit but it looks like one of them was their first choice keeper.

How did their number 5 play, Harrison Armstrong? 18 year old midfielder on loan from Everton. PNE fans seem to love him.

Very well, mature beyond his years. If he plays like that regularly he's ready for a step up.

Nice one, thanks. There’s talk of him being recalled to cover for players going the Afcon, which would be harsh on PNE.

You would never have know he was 18 by that performance. Although very different players positionally, he reminded me of a young Shearer or Le Tiss who both had wise football beads on young shoulders from the get go. Potential Rolls Royce of a player, he looked a class act. [Post edited 3 Nov 1:15]
