 | Forum Thread | The club of Embarrassment at 12:12 14 Apr 2025
Can anyone think of any other records that could embarrass us further? No wonder the ground was empty at full time Saturday. We are being totally taken for granted, and they better sort things out quickly next year, or this club will go to the dogs. Two record nine nil defeats. 26 PL defeats is a new record. Successive home defeats is a new PL record. 2 relegations in 3 years. A new striker that we bought 2 years ago, and now he has just played his first PL appearance because Saints decided to buy an injured player No strikers at all, apart from two injured ones and a a youth player. 6 managers in 3 years. Relegated with 7 games left is a new record. Surely there must be some more records we could get?????? The club should be paying us, not the other way round. They better reward the long suffering fans with season ticket prices next season. [Post edited 14 Apr 12:18]

 | Forum Thread | Big game for the Skates tomorrow at 22:12 11 Apr 2025
As we try to beat Derby County's 11 points, they are at Fratton tomorrow, who are 4th bottom. Pompey arn't safe yet. Unusual that we are both at home on the same day. |

What a bunch of wet wipes. Battered wife syndrome. Don't our fans care? Let's just smile, clap and cheer after relegation. Don't get it at all. The players must think we are a bunch of pansies. [Post edited 6 Apr 16:55]

So there we have it. Wolves win at Ipswich means that Saints will be officially relegated if we don't beat Spurs tomorrow. I have never seen 3 teams cast adrift in the bottom 3 with 7 games to go. The title is also done. What a bore fest the PL is. |

https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25030506.spors-outlines-intent-provide-southam So a team of 18 to 23 year olds next season then. There is always a pathway into the first team if they are good enough. But most simply arnt good enough. If they are that good at that age, they are playing for Liverpool, Man U, Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal. Rinse, Repeat, Rinse, Repeat, Rinse, Repeat. And then Spors gets fed up and jumps ship. | Forum Thread | Apparently, there was a "big" "Derby" today at 19:42 22 Mar 2025
Empty seats everwhere. If this isn't proof that there is very little interest in women's football, I dont know what is. I went to Easteigh, and so did many others, who didnt even know that the Saints women were playing. [Post edited 22 Mar 19:43]

 | Forum Thread | Our Fans at 18:32 22 Feb 2025
Apart from the obvious well done to those who keep turning up every week to be embarrassed, what iswrong with the fans? We cheer Ketchup like he's a hero. Didn't he go on strike, refuse to play, caused all sorts of problems for RM last season and the rest of it? He came on today, and got absolutely torn apart. The first goal was his fault. Last week, our fans booed Smallbone, the guy who scored in the playoffs last season, always gives his best, been through the youth team, loves the club and he gets stick. I seem to remember some idiot posting about him last year not having any hair. He's not a great player, but are any of them??? Yet, Mr. I'm on strike gets a heroes welcome. And then after a game we could easily have lost 10 nil, not a single bit of discontent against the people who are literally destroying the club. Do our fans not care? Arn't they angry? Well, apart from being very angry at one of our own. They certainly are at Spurs and Leicester. What club's fans would just put up with this every week? Perhaps the fans like the owners (after 2 relegations, 6 failed managers, 45 terrible signings), perhaps they think it's the managers fault, perhaps our fans are very very shy, perhaps they don't care. What an absolute mess. These owners are taking the p!ss. Thousands sat in the fans zones singing along with the band and buying drinks. Many of our lot, just don't care do they. | Forum Thread | Next Season at 12:27 17 Feb 2025
I hope I'm wrong, that we appoint Danny Rohl, regroup and do well next season. But, gut feeling is we will be a Luton next year. The aftermath of this embarrassing season (relegation number 2) won't be easy to deal with. It was easier to dismiss one relegation as a one off last time, regroup and give it a good go. This time the following players will almost certainly leave: Ramsdale, Walker-Peters, Fernanadez, Dibling, Downes, Harwood-Bellis, Bednerak, Ketchup, Suelemana. Then there are a few question marks, like Aribo, Armstrong but if I was made to present a shirt after a 5 nil defeat, I would want out. Anymore? That's a lot of players. To put together a completely new team, with 10 new players isn't easy, especially with our recruitment record. Plus getting rid of yet another manager. All I can see is chaos.. |
 | Forum Thread | Charly Alcaraz at 19:15 15 Feb 2025
He scores for Everton today and an assist. We had a really good player in him amd we get rid. All the Everton fans singing his name. Southampton fc = f@cking idiots. [Post edited 15 Feb 19:26]

 | Forum Thread | Juric wanted players - these owners didn't deliver at 21:33 6 Feb 2025
Nothing ever changes. Ralph wanted a striker, they didn't get it done. A few years later, these owners still not supporting the manager of the day. They just won't pay what is required to tempt the best players. We.just get stuck every time. Good players that we need won't come if they can get more elsewhere at more ambitious clubs. Juric already showing his frustrations. [Post edited 6 Feb 21:36]

 | Forum Thread | Any possibility of the Greatest Escape Ever? at 17:20 1 Feb 2025
We would all say no, I would imagine. However in 2006, West Ham won 8 out of their final 10 games, after being ten points adrift. Our local rivals also escaped after being many points adrift. Hmm. At least we should beat Derby's record low points total. |
 | Forum Thread | Loads of Newcastle fans in the home end. at 18:01 25 Jan 2025
Just to top off the day, significant groups of Newcastle fans all made their way over to the away end in the Chapel. Must have been 100 of them at the front in Newcastle shirts and waving their scarves. The stewards and our soft fans in the Chapel did absolutely nothing. Another embarrassment the away end laughing at 100s of their own in the home end. There's no way they would have done that in the Northam. The Chapel is a third full of away fans, most games in the PL. [Post edited 25 Jan 18:18]
