With Sheffield though, they can't split that lower tier behind the goal with home fans anyway, plus Sheffield have plenty of home seats to go around so they might as well just put all the seats on sale to us behind the goal.
Very strange with Wolves. I can only think Wolves think that Saints are huge rivals for promotion, their fans will sell out and they don't want 3000 of us roaring Saints on in a big promotion game. Makes sense as Wolves are allowed to only offer 2000. I can't see why Saints would take the lower allocation on a Saturday for a big game at a ground we have always taken 3000 to. It doesn't make sense for Saints to take the smaller allocation. We have sold out West Brom tomorrow, 2500 tickets on a Tuesday night, same distance but in the evening. Heading towards 3k for Preston, which is lot longer distance.
Wolves is a Saturday 3pm, big top of the table clash, and I have never known us not to take 3000 to Wolves, sat in the lower tier in that stand on the side, hence all the chat about it being a terrible view, but we have always taken 3k there. We would easily sell it out on a Saturday.
As mentioned above, strange about Sheff Utd too. We definitely took 2800 up there last year for an evening game, this year it says full allocation as 2000. [Post edited 2 Nov 19:32]

Hmm so they gave Cardiff more, but because we are a promotion rival, they are purposely giving us a smaller allocation, the maximum they have to give us. We should do the same back, like we did with Middlesbrough in the playoffs last season. |

It says that we have been given the full allocation. Are Wolves being naughty with only giving us the minimum they need to give us or have we taken a smaller allocation?
Cardiff fans were in the side stand by the way and were given 2500 and the tickets were more expensive than ours will be. Bit strange?

1) Really enjoying my football at the moment and buzzing about Saints, looking forward to every game. The football is exciting, attacking, goals galore and Saints are dam intense on the pitch at times. Brilliant entertainment with sublime football. I am also dreaming of, and feel it is a real possibility that we can win the league.
2) Some mention of players. Peretz wins us points. Having a good goalkeeper is.so vital. His saves at West Ham.last week, won us the points. And Bragg, what a potential star he is. He was superb on Saturday.
3) The fanzones and selections of drinks are very good.
4) Tonda is an intense, clever, tactically astute man who has brought this city together. With everything that has gone on, I don't think I have ever wanted a manager of Saints to succeed as much as this guy and am.fully behind him 100 per cent. It's a long time since I have been able to say that.
5) The atmosphere is good. It isn't always going to reach.the levels of the derby game, but it's buzzing, positive and good. Middlesbrough at home will be one hell of an atmosphere and have plans with others to get to Southampton well before kick off that day. We have had some incredible moments of celebration under Tonda. Excellent sales. Tonda has really united the fanbase. Winning games and fighting for something special will always attract fans. Our fans are there in large numbers when they need us.
Wolves away, do they still offer 3000 tickets in the Championship and could that game yet be changed for TV. If we get 3k I know i will get a ticket and can also book trains if that date 5th December is set. [Post edited 2 Nov 9:49]

Tonda Eckert took charge of Southampton whilst the club were 21st after 13 games on 12 points, and went on to finish just 4 points off the automatic promotion places. We are now 5th on 23 points after 13 games… Tonda has the best points per game record in all 4 divisions.
We score 3, 4, 5 goals in most games. We attack, it's exciting. The players are playing like troopers in every game. I know we haven't seen a Tonda Eckert Saints side in the PL, but Tonda is something else. What a manager. The spying saga just adds to the story. I am really loving this guy.
What a story this will be if he takes us back to the big time and lifts the title with minus 4 and everything that's happened. [Post edited 1 Nov 0:19]

Fair play Saint22. I think we should have no fear with Tonda at the helm. Larin out, Downes out, Jander out, Tonda gets the best out of all the replacements. They come in and play a blinder. Tonda must take a lot.of credit for winning games come what may. Bragg is one of our own, a great lad and so much potential to be a brilliant player. [Post edited 31 Oct 19:29]

Tonda said he had a muscle injury and unfortunately didn't sound too hopeful about a quick return. Nothing said about Larin. |

It's still advertised as a Saints pub, with pictures showing Saints badges inside etc but if you buy a Saints pub right next to the stadium and want to attract Saints fans on match days, respect them fully. [Post edited 30 Oct 15:43]

The "spying" that we did, didn't affect results because we didn't win any of the games that we spied on. Saints should be all over this. Why should we get a points deduction but not them. Our actions had no.impact on results, as we have continued winning without spying. |

The pub has advertised on the QPR sites to attract fans for the game against QPR on Saturday. I don't use it, tend to go to the Engineer Arms but hear of many Saints fans using it. A little research suggests that the pub has not too long a go been taken over by new owners. [Post edited 30 Oct 15:44]

I think one or two are missing the point here.
- If your dad, mum was born in Southampton, and you were born in another city, you follow your parents and support the Saints - Perfect, that's fine, perfectly understandable and understandable for any other club.
- If you were born in Southampton but move away and carry on supporting the Saints- great, so you should.
- If you live in London, the North, or abroad and support Southampton without any link to the city - you're potentially mad with all the choices you have, but great come and support the Saints.
- If you live in a place where there isn't a team, you choose one - okay fine.
- If you support Saints and also go and watch another lower league side like Eastleigh or Totton, great, nothing wrong with that.
What Danny Dyer is saying is that someone who lives in London and was born there, or any other city with a football club, why would you support anyone but your own team in the city you were born? Surely, you want to be able to watch your team play without having to travel 200 miles, spwnding hundreds of pounds every home game. At Stratford station after the game, amongst hordes of West Ham fans, I saw a guy in a Man U tracksuit.
Would you not support one of the top London teams? The Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City shirts you see everywhere, they are just attention seeking, look at me idiots who never watch them because they are miles away. What is the point of supporting a team miles.away just because they are good? It's these glory hunters that Danny Dyer is getting at. They arn't real fans, just look at me, I am wearing the shirt of a top team and that's it.
He is also touching on the disrespect shown too by a few idiots i.e
People walking around in a top 6 shirt on match day in another city or getting in home ends and cheering goals, like the Arsenal fans who live in Ipswich disprespecting the Ipswich people they live next door to , getting a ticket in the home end and cheering. Utter tw@ts.
