While on the subject, I picked up a packet of Waitrose mini jaffas from M5 services the other day. Couldn’t stop eating them. Think they might top the originals.
But are they even a biscuit?…

9/10 as well, and the Jaffa did for me too...
Now, I am not surprised to hear that Waitrose mini jaffas may top the originals. I was reading in the paper that McVities have recently changed the recipe causing a wave of angry reaction from regular consumers. There are now only 10 per pack, they are smaller and the sponge is now the consistency of cat litter!
I gave up on McVities Jaffas years ago after their previous downgrade when M&S launched their own far superior oblong shaped Jaffas [also in Lemon & Lime flavour]. My daughter buys either Lidl or Aldi jaffas and even they are better than the originals. Same with the Jaffa Cake bars apparently, recently shrunk in size and poorer quality...
Also, watch out when buying mince pies, a lot of them have shrunk about 30% in size compared to last year including M&S's but with hefty price hikes included... |  | | |

I think anything that you can dunk in a cup of tea is a biscuit and I always dunk Jaffa cakes, making a mess in the process.
That said I also dunk cereal bars into cups of tea. But I’m a dirty, greedy northern b4stard so I think my opinion shouldn’t be valid. | | | |
