And Dad took me to Rangers for the first time. I can still remember almost everything about it, parking in the White City Estate, him buying me a badge and rosette (which I still have) from a stall in South Africa Road. A burger from the van behind the Loft. Actually seeing the players in the flesh for the first time (I knew them all by sight from football cards and television). It was so exciting.
50 years. Bloody hell.

Great watch. The most amazing recollection - apart from Ralph Coate's hairstyle (sadly deceased at the age of 64) - is that West Ham ended the day top of the table.
