My view is that going to back 4 is not a switch flicking move. It requires significant changes to personnel and quite a few role changes.
Even if we select the right CB's ( most on here think they are all shit) you still need 2 "traditional" FB's...we got any ??
Add in the need for significant changes in midfield shape and the wide attackers' roles in the absence of wing back support.
I wouldn't fancy the next 3 games using "on the job" trainees in a new idea.

I think they would need a week or two to work on it in training, and there just isn’t the scope for that in this really crowded schedule of games.
I think we may well see Quarshie, Bragg and Jelert all start today though.

you cant attack for 90 minutes you still got to defend at times,i dont think tonda trusts what we have in a 4 otherwise we would be playing as a 4.I agree we need to move the ball quicker and playing a4 would probably help this but you cant be successfull when youre shipping goals almost every game. | | | |
