There is talk that if Whammers do let him go with the salary being a stumbling block, that they'd be prepared to subsidise the salary. And IF he came here, not sure such a good idea though, they'd have to do that |  |

The only way I could see this happening would be if we sold Shea Charles

I was a big supporter of JWP during his time here, mainly because of his dead ball skills, loyalty and leadership, but at the same time he was at the core of the slow build up and sideways/back football we want to eradicate.
It's time to move on. He served us well and will be fondly remembered by most, but he is not the answer to our problems today.
His wages would also be an issue, even if he did take a cut. Can you imagine the discontent amongst the 'so called' senior players, who already appear to be running the club, if he came in on higher wages ! | | | |
