If you mean Barry 'Bannan' - He plays for Sheff Wed currently unless you mean a different 'Bannon'

If you mean Barry, been discussed here:

Bruce Bannon even in his 70s wouldn’t have allowed that sort of space at Wrexham’s corner

Perhaps sign Steve Bannon to play on the right wing.

What a player. Saw him score one of the best goals I've ever seen. Tannadice 1981. UEFA Cup. Dundee United 5 - 0 Borussia Mönchengladbach. Arabs were 2-0 down from the first leg but ran riot that night. What a team United had - Milne, Dodds, Hegarty, Sturrock etc.

Can't remember if it was United's 4th or 5th but he picked the ball up from his own half and literally dribbled it all the way past the Gladbach defence into the net.

I was only 13, thought all football would be as good as this. In their orange shirts they looked and played like the Dutch sides of the 70s. Their brand of total football was not that dissimilar to the great stuff that the R's played in the 70s and 80s either.

Ah nice one - always had a soft spot for Dundee Utd since seeing their lovely kit in my Football 84 sticker album.

Bannon had a brief spell with Chelscum too.
