Players who feel like they played for QPR but didn’t
at 13:26 4 Jan 2021
Watching Borehamwood coast to a 3-0 win away at Barnet who fielded a chunky Dean Parrett and I was surprised to see he didn’t make five forgettable loan appearances for us circa 2009.

More time to rest/prepare for the schlep to Blackburn on the Tuesday and otherwise both Sheffield clubs were travelling to London together. Not on the box.
Not ideal for some I’m sure but suits me this time.

Thinking of finishing a bit early and getting a train up there from leafy Berks. Last train back to Reading is the 22:04 from New St. Assuming I get out the ground at 9:40ish is that vaguely realistic? Don’t think I’ve ever done a midweeker there.

OT- planning permission for advertising hoardings
at 12:55 12 Oct 2017
Hoping I can delve into the LFW knowledge pool.
I've recently moved into a new build ground floor with a garden. The developer is still selling off various flats in the development and they have just constructed an advertising hoarding about 8 feet high (and above the bushes on the perimeter of my property) surrounding my garden.
Firstly, do they need our permission given the size of the advertising which is a bit of an eyesore and is lit up in the evening. Secondly, given so far they've ignored our very polite requests to have it reduced to a smaller size, what can I do legally should it come to it, as I expect it to be there for a few months?
Thanks in advance

We've had this bloke for over a year now. I've seen him play on the left, on the right and behind the striker and still don't know what sort of player he's meant to be.
Maybe there's some potential there that I can't see but can someone explain to me what he's good at? Is one year too soon to judge?

Well on the way back anyway.
Absolutely appalling for 90 minutes. We had nothing at all apart from punting it forward and hoping for a second ball. Complete dross. There is not one positive to come out of that game.
Stop playing Perch now. We have two good youngsters who can compete. It's cruel on us mugs who pay to watch.
Players not playing after their missus has had a kid
at 22:27 6 Mar 2016
Am I insensitive in thinking it's ridiculous that Hoilett wasn't available on Saturday after his wife had dropped a kid out a day before? This seems to have become a given in football when I'm sure it wasn't in the recent past.
The bloke is presumably trying to win a new contract. Maybe I'm just old fashioned about this but if the kid was born that day or due at any moment I could understand it.
OT- Richard Keogh

No we aren't signing Sir Richard of Zamora.
The bloke looks a cart horse every time I see him play but has played regularly for Derby for years and Ireland too. A comedy own goal and given away a penalty tonight already. Can anyone who watches more Championship football than me explain what he's meant to be good at?
