Thanks for your analysis Simon. I see no mention of the financial settlement regarding Marti C in these Accounts, or in the Note 23 I think it was regarding post financial year events. Only that he and Calm were let go? Do you know which year that will be in and how they are treated in the Accounts. Wondered if that could be a negative in Player Sale proceeds, though I suppose not. One of the options here is that Cifuentes and Calm remained on the payroll until they found new jobs. I remember Kieran Maguire mentioning that one unspecified club (Chelsea? Watford?) had 5 or 6 managers on their payroll at one point.
I've just remembered that he bought himself out of his contract. My memory! I think that was all agreed in July so after the period covered by these accounts. [Post edited 21 Feb 10:18]
