Duncan and Gary are no longer spring chickens so bearing in mind their last Post War History ended with Season 2002/3 then they may not be in a position to undertake all the research involved to do a third edition in 2050 when the club has moved onto greater glory in th World Wide Infantino League Championship and playing in front of 80,000 home crowds in the Trump family Socca Supadrome on the banks of the Itchen.

A new generation of Saints historians will need to assume the mantle.

I studied History at uni and I’ve only got 17 years to go until retirement so if I live long enough I’ll write the next one.

You cannot reason a person out of something they were not reasoned into.
