Two stand-out ones for me today. Kone really IS back, quality strike today, echoes of some of his goals last season. A confident striker’s goal.
Chair back on the pitch, albeit for ten odd minutes including added time. With Vale chronically out of form, we need a fully fit Chair out there. Should be good for at least 30 mins V Burnley.

Yes took his goal very well indeed.....BUT watch his overall performance and, specifically, the goal that we conceded from a Saints corner.
He was very average today and nowhere near the level he was last week.

Kone is a big strapping lad, but he seems so easy to knock off the ball. His inability to hold the ball through poor control and apparent lack of strength means when we’re looking for an outlet to ease the pressure on the defence and bring others into play he is ineffective. Hopefully this can be coached into him, but Burrell and Lloyd so much better at making the opposition work at winning the ball back.
