Tarbs Staying 13:22 - Jan 22 with 3740 views | BrumHoop | Just seen a tweet from one of the journo's at the African Cup of NAtions. “@JohnLBennett: Adel Taarabt has told me he was set to leave #QPR in Jan. But now Mark Hughes has taken over, he wants to stay at the club #AFCON2012” Very good news. Say what you like but if we can harness his talent he could be a huge player for us. Is this suggesting he would rather stay with Hughes in charge rather than Warnock?
Tarbs Staying on 19:39 - Jan 22 with 616 views | QPR_ARG | Taarabt is an absolute starter in my book. If Hughes never changes his 4-4-2, then Adel should play as one of the two forwards (just off the main striker). That way he won't have a lot of responsibility tracking back (although he did track back -and did OK- in the matches he played this season) and he'll play closer to the goal. He won't be crucified by some of our own fans everytime he loses the ball when trying to create something (that's something that happen to every creative player in the world, you know?). By playing ahead of a solid midfield (which is what we need) and a strong back four (something we haven't had all season), Adel will have more liberties and will have a bigger impact if he plays a few yards further down the pitch than he was playing this season. I want him to make several runs into the box. Feed our striker. Shoot from distance. Hopefully Hughes will rediscover him as a 2nd forward. One that can move from left to right to middle as he sees fit and according to what the opposition sets up in front of us. Adel is a key player for QPR.

Tarbs Staying on 16:57 - Jan 22 by Northernr | The only place you can play Taarabt in a 4-4-2 set up is as one of the strikers. If you play him on the wing teams will happily tear us apart down his side all afternoon. |
Agreed. Hughes is normally quite rigid in his approach and is unlikely to loosen the formation as some have suggested, particularly in a relegation dogfight.

combination of North, Arg & Glouc.... if you play him as second striker he is out of the way of the defencive end so shouldn't be able to fukk up if he loses the ball & can drift wide if needed and then feed in the wide midfielders. DJ probably showed the best second striker game in the forst 45 but Adel adds another dimension from an attacking perspective.... but wtf do I know; I've been down the pub all day!
Tarbs Staying on 22:56 - Jan 22 with 546 views | TheBlob | And that's why 'arry boy's got the 'ump with R's,no forty per cent?So that's why he's talking down Krankyjar and upping Pienaar's price?Typical barrow boy mentality, what I've got is worth loads if you want it and if you're selling it's worth fukkall.

Tarbs Staying on 09:37 - Jan 23 with 489 views | WestbourneR | If Adel is here happy and fit he is in the team no question imo. I'd try him just in behind the striker and I'd give a go on the left too. I will admit he suits the 4231 a lot more but I dont think a slot in the 442 is impossible.
