Go to Harrow road, up 5th avenue, turn right on to Ilbert Street and it is opposite the park on the East wall of the hall above the door.

so that's on St Judes hall isn't it.
I remember there was a blue plaque for Norman Wisdom near there too.
There's one for Holst in Brook Green too, he taught at the school there.

Wow, That just brought back long forgotten memories of going to the Queens Park park on 4th Ave and the bigger one the other side of the railway lines when I was about 12-13 to meet a mate during the school holidays - he lived on 5th Avenue. It was a bit of a trek in from Ruislip just to then hang around the park for a couple of hours. I always thought it was a bit strange that even though he would come over to my house and my mum would feed him lunch, I never even got to see his front door. I think he used to use the excuse that his mum worked and did not want anyone else in the house during the day.

The little park looks the same, they just moved the two swing areas and made them grass.

Don't know if he was a fan or not. His dad drank himself to death in the Chippenham pub just down the road.

Never a big fan but I did like his 'trip' at his investiture.
