The Cuckoo & Rainbow (formerly Woolworths) on Acton High Street. Nope, me neither.
And I'm sure most of you of a certain age will have frequented The Mechanics Arms in Churchfield Road, Acton back in the day. Was more commonly know as "Diggers" due to it being next to a graveyard. My Dad and all my uncle's first pints (and many more after!) were in there.
Larkeche was going to be first choice this seasn I think, but got a season ending injury at the start of the season.
The fact we've got a versatile player to cover/play LB alogside RND is a good thing imo. Just because Field isn't pigeon holed as an orthodox LB is irrelavent. He's clearly capable of playing that position. So I don't see the problem personally.
If Wilkins is being honest, it's just a personal thing that's he's got with FIeld, as well as Smyth and Dunne.
Who knows how any of us would react "in the moment"?
It's not an every day situation that you would ever expect to find yourself in or something you'd think might happen and with cast iron certainty know that you'd behave in a certain way.
Until any one of us is ever in that same situation (and god forbid any one of us is!), we're not really in a position to judge how he reacted or how he "should" have reacted in that moment.
Fairly instinctive human reaction to seeing your mum in danger/distress.
Would be surprised if any 22 year old man would have the self control not to react in that scenario when your addrenaline is pumping.
He made a terrible mistake. Admitted as much. Has been through the court process and has shown remorse - it's time to move on. Nothing else he can do about now but learn from that experience and be a better person.
