Hello QPR fans, just a quick request to your fans coming to Bristol on Saturday - we recently had a big loss in that one of ours died (of cancer) on 18th September. Beany (as he was commonly known) was extremely well known, liked and respected by not just us here at BCFC but also amongst England fans, he travelled all over the world and only missed a handful of England games in the last 40 years. Anyone who travels regularly with England may have known or had the pleasure of sharing a drink with him. Around 30 of his family will be at Ashton Gate for the game and we'll be having a fan led round of applause on 69 minutes - which is how old he was when he passed. We hope that you will join in, he was a truly great bloke and a proper old school football fan.
