Extremely honest but equally deluded at the same time.

Yes we were on the front foot for the first 20 minutes and produced f*ck all. The rest of the game we were inept. The first ten minutes of the second half we pushed forward and produced f*ck all generally. We got picked off at will and our passing and crossing got worse and worse.

Critchley says we played with heart but it disappeared. The players don't know what they are doing half the time on the pitch.

He's very honest in saying he has to do better but where do you really go after such a sh*t show tonight and Boro away next weekend?

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

He talks about the blocker not doing his job on the first goal but does Critchley seriously think Dozzell is capable of blocking the biggest bloke on the pitch, he’s deluded if that’s the case, he swatted Dozzell away like a fly.

God knows how part zonal marking is meant to work, all our big guys on the six yard box, they just loop corners away from that area so they’ve got free headers at our goal. It happens week after week.

I don’t think Critchley is the main problem but at this rate he’s going to talk himself out of a job and give another lifeline to the actual culprits.
