…may not have been the worst appointment in Scotland this season. I can’t believe what I’ve just seen. Celtic absolutely battered Dundee United first half, should have been 4-0 up. Second half they were atrocious but still missed incredible chances to save themselves. Poor old Wilfred Nancy looked absolutely devastated at the end.
Fair play to Dundee United, first goal against Celtic in five games, first win in eleven years!
Maybe the complete domination by Celtic and Rangers is finally over and Scottish football would be better for it . Love to see both superpowers taken down a few pegs and open the door to lesser financied teams to get a bite of the apple . I know very little about Wilford Nancy but it looks like his days are numbered

Totally agree. Last time anyone else won the Scottish league was the 80s... Fergie's Aberdeen
Given what a complete state Celtic are in I can't believe they didn't take the opportunity to just stick with O'Neil for a bit given he was winning.
The "Old Firm" have been hilarious this season. Great value. I've actually started watching a bit of it for the comedy value.
I switched over to last night’s mayhem after City and Brentford’s walking football had me slipping into unconsciousness. Dundee United and Celtic was like a one-man-band falling downstairs.

Yeah. Crazy decision. It’s obvious they were playing for O Niell They’re not for this guy. Hope Hearts win it . That’s coming from a lapsed Irish catholic. Rangers and Celtic are just a cesspit of sectarian hatred. Not all but quite a few.

agree.it is on par with QPR not sticking with Warnock, and instead appointed JFH.QPR went downhill fast after that/
Nancy's appointment is a very strange one indeed and is quickly turning into a disaster.
Still, I think it will be great for the SPL if Hearts and Hibernian etc win the top spots this season. St Mirren also beat Celtic for a trophy last week.

Celtic were humming along winning the league every year and banking millions from the champions league while selling the likes of Matt O'Riley, Tierney etc for big money. They should have kicked on, but the board haven't adequately replaced the players who left and they've gradually declined. Got away with it for a while due to the ongoing clown show at Ibrox.
Brendan Rodgers was clearly unhappy this season at the lack of investment. He made no secret of this and left. Martin O'Neill immediately lifted spirits and results, should have been kept on until the end of the season. Instead they bring in a new manager who wants to completely change the playing style mid season, with predictable results. He'll be gone very quickly if they don't start winning soon. Amazingly they're still favourites for the title.
On top of this they have a few key players out with longish term injury (Jota, Carter Vickers, Johnston who would all be regular starters) so when they return it should improve. Everyone knew investment in the squad was needed in the summer and it didn't happen.
Still think Hearts will bottle it. Not so confident it will be Celtic that take advantage though, Rangers are finally starting to look a bit better, at least in terms of results. I wouldn't mind seeing big Ange back, him and Celtic were made for each other.
Scotland the place for fun and frolics, 40 years of surprises saved up for one season. After the Edinburgh derby, 4 goals in the first ten minutes in Livingston-Celtic.
