Great performance from everyone today, I honestly thought we would get thumped today, couldn’t fault a single player.
Dembele looked good before his injury, Madsen, what a revelation he’s been, turning into some player.
Smyths work rate is off the scale, definitely should have had a penalty.
Bennie unlucky not to score.
Kone’s goal was sublime and his overall performance was superb excellent.
Edwards was a bit nervy to start with but grew into the game, the whole defence (goal apart) was like a brick wall.

I had a good view of Smyth's penalty claim from X block. He stepped across the defender and braced himself in preparation to go down once he felt contact. Wasn't a penalty. I love Smyth as a player but I think he is lucky not to pick up more bookings for diving.

I really didn’t want to go today after last week. My son was working and I offered our tickets to my daughter and her boyfriend but they weren’t free. Made a last minute decision to go and went with a stone in my stomach as they say. Oh boy oh boy. First half was very encouraging, we were well on top without being that threatening and the usual goal conceded after the break, but what a fight back. I was dreading the last ten minutes but compared to last week’s panic it was plain sailing. So proud of the team, unbelievable reward for us after the wretched anxiety of so much of the last three years.

It was a fine win, but one excellent 90 min victory hardly erases 'the last three years', and not even some of the guff that has stunk the place out this season. The players and coach now need to show how much ambition JS claims he/they have, and prove themselves week after week.

If you can't enjoy this moment, not sure why you bother?

Talk about sucking all the fun out of the air, life's to short, enjoy what you can.
