Inconsistency in officiating 02:18 - Mar 1 with 378 viewsJules4367

I probably am biased here but I watch the officiating we have at Loftus Road season after season and compare it to watching other live Championship matches on the TV and feel that we do not get a fair deal in the decisions.

The assistant ref got the call on the disallowed goal correct but won't raise the flag when he sees Smyth's shirt being pulled off, over his head, five feet away.

I stand behind the goal and watch defenders (at corners) pull and push our players and yet no fouls awarded whereas the number of times Dunne, Cook, etc are penalised is disproportionate.

I have been taold (and commented before ) taht the assistants are told by the referee to only flag for offside -NOT fouls, NOT throw ins - which is why , whne the ball goes into touch next to the 'line-o' he looks anxiously at the refs arm before he raises his flag in the same direction!

I have written (not mentioniong my team) to the officiating bodies, to Sky pundits and no one seems to care about the inconsistency or that no-one can question the ref and no-one (apparently) reviews their (or their assistants') performance.

In the NFL referring teams of officials are reviewed each game and suffer consequences.

It seems we can be visited time and again by officials who make ridiculous decisions and no one can do anything about it!
