Cardiff are at least buying young players with potential for their money.
They are following the Swansea/Norwich/Southampton model more than the QPR model.

That depends doesnt it. If they consolidate and stay in the Premier League then yes. If they go down and he goes with them and becomes just another player that never reached their potential then no.
If though he becomes 'too good' for Cardiff then I am sure they can get their money back and more considering the prices 'top level' English players seem to be going for at the moment.
The only alarm bells for me would be that Spurs are no mugs, Levy especially and if they are letting him go there may be something up, although not being good enough for a team challenging the top 4 doesnt mean you wont be a great addition to a team that would consider anything above 18th as a win. | |

Caulker was very strong getting a run of games for Swansea but looked a bit shaky filling in at Spurs. Still seems a harsh sale but Spurs will likely think they can get better for that kind of money - the Romanian chap they're trying to sign (for a million less) is excellent supposedly, and better suited to AVB tactically. |  | | |
