Just to let you all know that all the pubs and off licences weren't allowed to sell alcohol in the Wembley area from 1hour before the kick off on Saturday for the cup final.It also applied to the supermarkets,but you can buy drinks in Wembley stadium.

Don't believe that's happening in my chosen establishment a slight stroll to the ground
However, surely most people need to leave wherever they are by about 2.15pm to ensure in ground and seat on time?
Don't be fooled into thinking getting into Wembley is a doddle. There is ALWAYS an issue somewhere on blocks of turnstiles, stewards will be searching for booze or soft drinks / food (FA want your dosh) and if you're in the cheap seats it can take 10 minutes to get to your seat once you get in the ground!!
There's atmosphere to be soaked up as well

I understand about the pubs closing,but some people may get there a bit late and fancy a couple of swift cans for a fraction of the price that Wembley charge,and they find anywhere to buy any after 2pm probably. | | | |
