I was listening to a 5live special programme last night between 7.30-9pm about how sport is helping in the fight against dementia.
There are schemes to get groups of mainly men to meet and talk about the various sporting memories.
There was 1 old boy who couldn't remember his own wife's name but he remembered about the Lisbon Lions and other football related things.A very moving programme if anyone wants to listen to it.
