Been bleating on about this for ages, but putting aside the practicalities would this be something people would want?
The board rightly or wrongly get a lot of stick, and I think a lot of it comes from frustration of being outside the decision making process.
I'm not suggesting shares or a paid position but it would be nice to have a supporter present wouldn't it? Like a silent partner.

Three supporter advisors, picked through an election and selection process, will attend board meetings to ensure general supporter sentiment is considered as part of the Club’s decision-making process.
The Club will now consult with the Fans’ Forum and several non-official supporter groups to discuss the Club’s proposed process for picking the three supporter advisors.
The successful candidates will be required to enter into a confidentiality agreement, similar in scope to the confidentiality obligations of a member of the Chelsea Football Club board of directors. This will allow the Club to discuss and seek advice on a broad range of matters.
The supporter advisors will not have any voting rights and will not participate in any meetings relating to players, staff, the Academy and related matters.

And right there is the crux of the problem with supporter representation. its a circle that is pretty much impossible to square to the satisfaction of both the club and the supporters who elect the reps |  | | |

I’d need to check this to confirm, but I’m pretty sure that along with the fact that no one individual or corporate investor can have more than 49% ownership of a club in Germany, 51% of the club is owned by fans. There are historical as well as social and cultural reasons why this seems to work in Germany. Fans are valued by the clubs as they have to work together for the community. Not saying that there wouldn’t be challenges for this to work here, but at least there’s a template that could potentially be adapted to make it so. [Post edited 4 May 2021 19:21]

I think it 's a worth a shot. Either it works and our voices are heard or it doesn't and it makes no difference. The only issue is that we would need someone with at least half a brain but anyone with half a brain wouldn't touch the post with a bargepole. |  | | |
