Over the seasons we have complained, well some on here have, about the poor results by our youth and women's teams. One reasoning was that the teams were there to bring players through and not a result-oriented system. Warbs obviously did not have much respect for the youth these past seasons, but the results so far this season are something to admire.
U18s - Played 2, won 2
U21s - Played 4, 1 win, 2 draws and 1 loss
Women - Played 4, 1 win, 2 draws and 1 loss
I wonder what has changed and no it is nothing to do with Warbs. Has our recruiting finally started to find some good new youngsters or are the opposition not as good as they have been in the past? Could Beale have some influence? Could being at the same training ground be a factor? Let's hope the results continue and the growth of our youth will finally come to something again. |  |
