What do Rugby league fans think of this?

Could you imagine the uproar if the Premier League went down this path? The idea that Chelsea could never be relegated would make my blood boil!

I only have a passing interest in Rugby League & Wakefield Trinity in particular. I'm opposed to these sugestions on the basis that I believe a place in the top league of any competition, should be won by performances on the pitch.

Wakefield, possibly alongside Hull KR, would be the clubs most at risk, but who would replace these two? I suspect that Bradford would be the major club to have the backing of the games administrators, but other than a "London" side, who would be an improvement on these two?

It may be that Trinity will survive due to their move to a new ground, but I don't know when this stadium will be available, or whether it will compare favourably to Castleford, Featherstone etc. I do know that demoting (instead of being relegated) a club of their historical stature & achievement would be alien to all sporting aspirations.
