Seems to have come right at Sunderland. Great goal against Fulham and a total handful.

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Looked quality.

At £10m, that worked out about £2.5m per appearance for Spurs' data-driven strategy of signing every single decent looking youth player in the country at 12yrs old, lest a rival get there before them. As strategy goes, that's as data-driven as a massive threshing machine that sucks child footballers into it's maw and shìts them out 8yrs later, branded a flop having played...well, four games.

Still, only £10m.

And Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and I'll give Newcastle a few years to get into the act, maybe less as what young player turns down unlimited gobbles on the dance floor of the tuxedo royale while getting £20k a week?
