Second Goal interception or failure to see overlap 23:45 - Apr 15 with 1619 viewsJules4367

Gareth’s comment is that the second goal was an interception and breakaway.

What I saw was we were piling on pressure and we had an overlap and free man on the left and I think if was Willock (but eyes not that good) who turned inside rather than playing overlap in.

By turning right Willock(?) turned into their players and two Coventry players took away our attack, the ball and any chance of getting a valuable point of more!

So it was not ‘a chance interception’ but poor decision making and understanding of overlaps !

What do they do during training- ?

We have so many trainers - cannot one of them talk with Gareth??

Alternatively I may have read the attack leading to second goal incorrectly!!

Yes Willock tried to play the ball infield to Lowe, except Lowe had already moved so the Cov player easily intercepted and launched the ball forward.

Further compounded by Balogun running across the box leaving his man free, when Dickie was already getting back to cover. Balogun injuring himself in the process. Brainless.

for me, as they broke, you gotta nudge him off the field, into row z, gently! gotta stop their play, we didn't no one "took one for the team" they passed it and scored. killed us off.

I’ve never seen a defence that is so easy to play against at any standard of foot I’ve watched. They are easily the worst team I’ve ever seen in the Hoops and probably the worst side I’ve ever seen in my life. Yesterday was just fùcking dire to watch.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Yeah, I go and watch Hanwell Town sometimes and don't remember seeing a goal as glaringly bad as the last two yesterday. That's 7th and 8th tier football.

the first goal looked bit of a mix up as well, couldnt see from my seat clearly, but looked a bit of a calamity between paal and field.

but whatever, they broke away and scored.

we always get punished for our mistakes.

The answer to the question in the OP of “what do they do in training” is an easy one to answer. They play against other QPR players so I don’t think it’s much of a yardstick for what they’ll face on a Saturday afternoon.
