The law being broken with a strong deterrent is one thing, but compare this with the establishment's responses to the suspicious and questionable legality of those who caused the 2008 global financial crisis - with the resulting impact on everyone of us - or, the incredibly dubious awarding of government contracts during COVID. The sentencing in the streaming case seems, how can I put it, oh yeah...excessive!
