 | News Comment | Injury hit, on the beach and checked out, QPR soundly beaten at Stoke – Report by sinceApril66 at 15:49:11
Have just read this outloud to my son; only had to stop reading 12 times because of disturbingly hysterical laughter (and I am a therapist)... Thank you so much, Clive, for finding some consolation in your screami g in the dark humour... I even have very similar repeat dreams. Paradoxically, in one of our most bleak moments, you write more entertainingly than ever (a big ask!)... Hope they've found a painless exit for your tooth. Getting desperate now... and still hopeful because of Marti and a few of our best players... |

I thought Clive was going to get through the report without mentioning Ben Pearson. Almost. We're used to this succession of response (Leeds), followed by non-response (Saturday). What was especially shocking was that it played out like a re-run of the Middlesbrough game, except Stoke are a much inferior side. Maybe it's Madsen's particular gift for ghosting through a game like Marty Hopkirk that helps him escape the ire directed at the sit-down merchants, Taylor, Tyler, Ethan etc. |

That report sums it up pretty well for me.I’ve seen some shocking away performances in my time watching this team, but I honestly think yesterday’s was up there with the worst of them. We could see the 1st goal coming a mile off as they created chance after chance in the time before they scored and they all came the same way. These are supposed to be professional footballers that have been training for almost 2 weeks to be ready for this match. God help us in the next 7 games because we won’t win another game if we continue to play like we did yesterday. |
 | News Comment | The home straight – Preview by TacticalR at 14:58:51
Thanks for your preview. So, after a nightmare start to the season, we are somehow where we should be. Is this the zen of QPR? (even if you can never really take anything for granted at QPR). Now, at the end of the dreaded March fixtures, we are bottom of the form table. But then so are Stoke. |

Good evening, a new opportunity for restoration and repair has opened up for me, and the best company in the UK works for this, and has already helped me many times, once I helped with it, completely restored the structure of the house, now I want to build a garage https://svprojects.uk/ , after I saw this company at work, I have no doubt that it is the best. |

I don’t know about anyone else, but I actually credit Warburton for a decent amount of the feel good factor in recent years. Post-relegation we were all over the place with Ramsey, Hasselbaink, McClaren, Holloway etc. Warbs calmed things down, showed that if you assemble a half-decent team of honest pros playing alright football, the fans will back you, even if you go through bad patches. I think the club’s largely been trying to replicate that ever since - obviously failed with Beale, Critchley & Gareth but seem to have recaptured it under Marti. |

Excellent article Dorse - thank you - so easy to read and , imho, sums up perfectly our journey over the past 20/30 years. I've got to say I still perhaps have more sympathy and respect than most(?) for Neil Critchley during his short time here. He came across as a thoroughly decent hardworking guy doing his best with a collection of individuals who, for whatever reason, weren't having him. His post-Fleetwood interview was just someone having the temerity to be honest and straightforward. I'm really please, and not surprised, he appears to be turning things round at Hearts. Love Marti - but Cricthley could well have been one we missed. |

Lovely stuff (TM NYQPR) Think you should make all your posts into monologues (not the tedious variety). Enjoyed it immensely. We do have lot more access of being an involved supporter what with message boards etal. So much better than chasing teletext, clubcall and finidnig a qpr fan in my local norf london pub to talk Rangers. |

Nice piece - enjoyed that a lot, and agreed with it all. Mood lighting :) Thing is, we did used to be good, back in the day(s). Very good back in the old days. And now we're not. But that's just details and not why you support a club. And we have been a lot worse |

I agree. Lots to moan about - fans do like moaning - but sold out home crowds, a much loved manager, some decent players (ok need a striker or three and a couple of LBs, etc) and some cracking goals - Koki, Illy, Jimmy. Who wants promotion anyway? |
